HOW IT WORKS FOR EMPLOYEES

1. You log in to Savetime on your smartphone.

2. You search for your client or click on one of your recent clients.

3. Select your start time and click the start button.

4. When you are finished work with this client you select your finish time and click the End button.

5. Confirm your time and duration.

WHY WE BUILT IT

When we were researching this product we came across many companies who were getting their employees to fill in their timesheets manually. These were sent into head office once a week where they were usually typed in a spreadsheet and the total hours worked were calculated. This was time consuming. The least we saw for the typing up of timesheets was 4 hours a week.

We mapped the process with a number of pilot companies and tried to come up with the best way of saving the maximum amount of time. This had to involve removing the duplication of entry by the administrative staff in the company. With a mobile phone in everyones hand we saw this as the key solution to getting rid of spreadsheets.

WORKPLACE COMPLIANCE

In Ireland the Workplace Relations Commission is responsible for employment compliance.

We have consulted with the Commission and we outline their Inspection checklist. On the right hand column we show how Savetime will provide you with the mechanism to fully record the information they need and how it can easily be produced if you receive an inspection from the Workplace Relations Commission.

Savetime is easy to use and we are available to support it.
However here are a few questions we have been asked that we hope might help you.

You can use any smartphone that is connected to the internet. It can use an IOS, Android or Windows operating system. You just open a mobile browser to get going.
No, there is no need to download an App. We have developed Savetime using the latest mobile web technology. This facilitates people with older smartphones. We do plan to add an App option to Savetime in the future.
You can update your time in Savetime when you get back into a Wifi zone or when you next have access to the internet. It is recommended that you always record your time on site as it will be time and location stamped.
You have to end one session before you can start another session. So if you see the next morning that you forgot to end yesterday's session then you end it at that stage before starting a new session. The time stamp will be different in this case.
There is the facility in the Professional and Enterprise editions that allow the recording of what work you do on site. This can be recorded using predefined dropdown lists or by typing in text. You can also have a combination of dropdown lists and typing.
You do not have access to change the start or finish time. Before you save your time you are shown the start and finish time and the duration of time worked so you should check this before confirming. The time recordings can be adjusted by your administrator.
Yes. In Timesheet reporting you select your date range, select spreadsheet format and click to export. This should suit most payroll systems. You can contact us for any specific requirements.
Yes. In Timesheet reporting you select the employee, enter your date range and click the full timesheet report. The date range can go back to when the employee started.
Yes. In Timesheet reporting you just select todays date and click Full Timesheet report. That will show you everyone who has started work sessions today.

Yes. Your administrator can import your clients using our template import facility or to help you get started we can import your existing clients for you if you wish.
Yes. In Timesheet reporting you select the client, select the date range you require and click to view the report. This can be saved and emailed to a client or can be attached to an invoice.
